Rug Hanging Systems

Centrum Force® is pleased to be offering rug hanging systems for in–plant rug washing companies. Greg Turcotte has been building them since 1998 and Tom Monahan since 2004

These towers are independent free standing structures, which do not require bolting to the floor, wall or ceiling. As circumstances change, they can be easily moved to different locations or other facilities as business grows

The design required engineers and fabricators to build a 10 to 15 pole rug hanging system with an improved hoist system. It was to be a stronger structure than any currently available, yet easy enough to be assembled by its purchasers.

The result was the fabrication of a rug hanging system that is robust and efficient enough to handle day to day rug washing with ease.

The Centrum rug hanging systems are available in a variety of configurations starting with ten lift poles. Another is offered with 13 feet 3 inches lift poles and heights that range from as low as 8 feet and as tall as 12 feet.

The Master Series of rug hanging systems are available with lift pole lengths of 16, 18 or 20 feet, and are 10, 12 or 15 feet tall. Master Series rug towers can have as many poles as needed. All rugs hanging systems come ready to be assembled. The hoist is powered with all American made long life Baldor components. Hanging systems operate on 110 volts, so there is no need for 3 phase power or 220 volts to operate them. All the pulleys and cables are solidly constructed (¼" cable is used to resist twisting).

Note: Make NO mistake. These are not rinky–dink, Popsicle stick–type, units. ALL the materials used in our products are engineered for load and safety, and thus we use heavy walled steel tubes and thick gauge flat steel. The difference is clear. Ours are constructed by fabricators inspired by us to "over build" all of Centrum Force®’s equipment. Matt Cole of Oakland California (President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Carpet and Rug Cleaners) could clearly see and feel the difference between our strongly built industrial unit when he compared it to others on the market. He eagerly purchased our Master Series ten pole motorized system.

Our general pricing list is printed. If you have special requirements for your tower, we can give you a quote based on your specifications. Our prices are based on fair market value, but low overhead allows us to keep our pricing down. The Centrum Force® co–founders are also rug washers and know full well how expensive it is to be in business.

All custom units are usually ready to ship within three weeks from the date of ordering.

Area Rug Cleaning Company installed an X–Series Rug Hanging System in their small facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The X is the Roman number ten so, not unexpectedly, the system has ten poles and is only ten feet deep and a little over ten high. Some poles have a four inch corrugated plastic pipe slid over the thirteen foot square tube rug hanging poles. This design permitted a radius bend for hanging rugs. No crease is created as it would be by the sharp edge of a square tube. The corrugated pipe also allows air flow for drying on the radius.
