Centrum Force is pleased to be offering Rug Hanging Systems for the in-plant rug washing companies.
These 'Systems' are commonly referred to, in the rug washing industry, as "Drying Towers", "Drying Racks", "Rug Racks" or even "Rug Poles". A vertical hang is by far the best way to get most rugs dry. Hanging the rugs will allow the air to access the front and the back of the rugs so drying time is drastically reduced as compared to drying flat on a floor or table. (Flat drying can take up valuable floor space that could be used for other purposes.
About the managing members of Centrum Force, LLC: Greg Turcotte has been building drying towers for over 10 years, and Tom Monahan for the past 3 years. Now they have come together as Centrum Force ™. Having already established a reputation for building systems that will "last for as long as you want to be in the business", their design features independent free standing structures. These structures do not require bolting to the floor, wall or ceiling. As circumstances change, their design allows one to move it to different facilities as your business grows or just relocate its location in your present plant as you choose.
We collaborated with our engineers and fabricators to build a 10 to 15 pole rug hanging system that would prove to be a stronger structure than anything featured in the marketplace. We recently incorporated a better and sensible hoist system. We even make the structure easy to assemble, even if you are not savvy with tools.
What has been the result? A rug hanging system that is rugged and strong to handle your day to day rug cleaning with ease.
The Centrum Series of rug hanging systems are available starting with 10 lift poles.
One is offered with lift poles that are 13feet 3 inches long and heights that range from as low as 8 feet and as tall as 12 feet.
The Master Series of rug hanging systems are available with lift pole lengths of 16, 18 or 20 feet. The height of the structure comes 10, 12 or 15 feet tall. Master Series towers can be made to have as many poles as you will need. There is no extra charge for varying heights. All of the rugs hanging systems come with all of the hardware that is needed to assemble the units. The hoist is powered with all American made Baldor components for everyday use and long life. It operates on 110 volts, so it will plug into a regular outlet in the USA. Therefore, there is no need for 3 phase power or 220 volts to operate the system. All of the pulleys and cables are very heavy in their construction also. We use ¼" cable to resist twisting. (This is common with lighter gauge wire rope, used on other rug racks in the market place)
Note: Make NO mistake! These are not Rinky-Dink, Popsicle stick-type units. ALL the materials used in construction are heavy walled steel tubes and thick gauge flat steel. Don't be fooled by the marketing attempts of others that claim to have strong units. Look at their units and then look at ours. The difference is visually clear. Ours are stronger...period! That translates into safe construction and long lasting usefulness! They are constructed by fabricators that are inspired by us to "over build" all of the products produced for Centrum Force™.
The units come with primer and not a finished paint coat. "Why they are not painted", you may ask? Having done this for many years, we can tell you that the paint on the steel gets scratched during handling and assembling. Also, it almost always happens that abrasion marks occurs from the shipping and most often needs to be repainted by the time it gets to you anyhow. Shippers are not easy on anything that goes on their loading docks. No matter how well we pack the units, there is always some damage to the finish. Therefore we decided to allow you to paint the unit to your specs or company colors. We pass on the savings to you that would otherwise be expensed in a paint coating beyond priming.
Typically the following question should be asked? How much do they cost? Our pricing is listed on the Order Form on the site. If you have special requirements for your tower, we can give you a quote based on your specifications. Some have noted that our prices are less than others offering to build a system for hanging rugs. We cannot speak for them. However, you should be aware of our marketing disposition. All of our prices are based on what we feel is fair market value for all of the equipment that we build. Low overhead allows us to keep our pricing down so you can afford to grow your business. We are rug washers as well and know full well how expensive it is to be in business.
All units are usually ready to ship within 2 weeks from the date of ordering.
